You Can't Eat the View
"Women make us poets, children make us philosophers." Malcolm De Chazal
I find this photo by photojournalist Amanda Lucier rather compelling. The reason for the child's tear shows, to my mind, a lack of responsible consideration by Sturgeon Carnival organizers. (via verve)
Even though my kids are grown and gone, i still enjoy, and get oodles of ideas, from Lmnop Blog. (Lmnop is a free online quarterly magazine for hip parents and their children who like to laugh, make, nurture, organise and play together)
16x16 Picol Icons are ready for download. Nicely done.
Camp is a lovely new line of clothing for girls by designer Suzanna Santostefano. The entire line is made from woven textiles of certified organic cotton, hemp and hempcel. Camp's materials are made solely in the U.S. and are environmentally beneficial. Camp was shown at recent NYC trade show Bubble. Can't wait to see this collection hit the stores generally. (via minor details)
Recipe: This Filipino Chicken Adobo sounds yummy, although i'll swap the soy sauce for less salty tamari, and definitely go with hoisin over ketchup.

Seems the older i get, the more difficult it becomes to re-adjust the body clock. I'll be in daylight savings time transition mode for a couple days, therefore tired and grumpy. Just pardon me all to hell.
