What do bushy eyebrows and chinese bbq pastries have in common? Why Jaden, of course. Considering she's talented, funny, and obviously a winner in the dna pool, i find it intensely comforting to picture her with two fuzzy brows -- restores my faith in the balance of the universe.
Mentioned ZCubes the other day, which claims to be "the world's first website where you can seamlessly browse, search, edit, paint, draw, hand-write, watch, listen, publish, type, print, network, teach, learn, and work". Had the opportunity last night to give it a test drive, and i tell you poopsies, it works exactly as stated. In fact, i could easily have spent hours zcubing but needed my beauty sleep. Once a gal's dragging fifty, the anti-hag factor becomes paramount.

Retail Therapy: Adore this little Grasshopper Boat Tray which, while intended for appetizers and such, would look great on my desktop holding a selection of favorite marbles. By the way -- went to Vidler's over the weekend and bought a lare antique-looking wooden pull-toy pig, some silly putty, a canister of fireballs, and a bag of roket ballons. They're long and striped and if you blow them up then let 'em go, they fly all over and make a loud humming sound. Makes BigFatKitty's eyes go big in lots of fun ways. As a bonus, we swung by Attica Correctional Facility so i could stare at the guards on the tower over the main entrance. They get particularly nervous if you take along a small spiral notebook and look like you're taking notes. Reverend Chip, Ample's infrequent guest blogger and our favorite movie-making friend, thinks it might be cool to take along a super soaker, but those guards dun look like they have much of a sense of humor. Speaking of Chip -- be sure to go see "Live Free or Die Hard" on the 27th. It's the last of the series before John McClane has to switch to support socks and an orthopedic tank top. He's also dragging fifty. Yippie-ki-yay, mother...
