Humble
I create abstract, dream-like images out of the simple elements of nature, such as fallen leaves, sticks, flowers, and seeds. I try to let the character and personality of each of these objects guide my camera, like a sculptor following the veins of a stone with his chisel. I think of my photographs as two-dimensional sculptures of light and form that feel both intimately familar, yet unknown and mysterious. Daniel Sroka.
